About Us

Purpose

The purpose of the HCA is to promote the general welfare of all the Highlands residents and property owners in matters of community interest, property and personal rights.

Membership

Membership is voluntary and limited to adults.  Voting is by Highlands residence, with a one vote per residence limitation.  Visit the Membership page for more information. 

Meetings

HCA meetings are held monthly on the 4th Tuesday (except December).  Visit the Calendar page for more information.

Structure

The San Mateo Highlands Community Association (HCA) is a California, not-for-profit corporation, 501(c)4.

Payments received from addresses outside the Highlands will be welcomed as a donation, but without resident membership and without the right to vote.
